The Best of Me !!!! A Small Montage of My Vlogs from 2006

So as some of you may know I've only been editing for a week now. My mentor Mike from Caliblog.com has been busy with his family this past week and I'm sure that as soon as I hang out with him again he'll show me exactly what I'm doing wrong. Go Figure, he's busy with his family on christmas break?! What's that about?
so I've been on my own this week trying to make this project work. Since I'm out of town this week I really wanted to post this before the year ends. I apologize for it being too small. Enjoy

So This is Christmas...

I would like to start this post by saying that I've have an amazing Christmas eve. I spent the day with Mollye and the day was just perfect. Hopefully she'll read this because I would like to say this.

I love you Mollye.

I need to move on before I make people puke. So it is 3:48 am and I am leaving my house at 5 am to catch a flight at 7:20am to fly back home to Massachusetts to see my family. I kind of don't want to go. I really want to stay here. But I need to go. I've had some family pass away this year and this could be the last Christmas for some other members of my family so I must go back. Christmas means a lot to them.

Did I also mention I'm scared to death of flying? It really scares the hell out of me. To be that hire and not in control just freaks me out. So I'm also up late because of that.

Oh and I'm up late because there was this rockin Christmas eve party until 1 am. It was one street over and boy was it loud. They sure know how to celebrate the birth of Christ. Alcohol, sex and loud obnoxious music.

For the last 5 days I've been working on my second editing video blog project. You all may have seen my first. It's the post below this one. I was excited to post my new one. It took 3 hours to fully load onto my site and once those 3 hours were done, my post just disappeared.

I have no clue where it went. So I have cut it down a little shorter (with the theory that maybe the file size was too big) and it is currently going to take another 3 hours to upload. That's sucky! What sucks more is the video I'm uploading's picture quality is kind of what the video post below looks like. Not that good! One day I'll get this editing thing down.

So I guess I'll end this by saying Merry Christmas, be-lated Happy Chanukah, and Happy Kwanza to all of you. To those that celebrate neither then have a great day off.

A Very Tenacious "A" Christmas

"A new adventure from the self proclaimed worst band in rock history"

(This is my first time editing. Mike did all the other posts. Be kind)

United 93 and The Hollywood For Press Foreign

The Golden Globe nominations we announced this week and it's always annoying when you read the nominees and realize you've seen none of the films listed. I haven't seen any of the best dramatic picture, actor or actress nominees and I've seen some of the nominees listed in the best comedy category. That means I have a busy month ahead of me. To view a list of the nominees click the below link.

http://www.hfpa.org/news/id/42

Even though I haven't seen any of the movies listed above I'm still a little shocked that the a movie I consider to be the best movie I've seen all year was overlooked.

I left United 93 wanting to be a hero. Even knowing what was happening as the movie ended I still had a yearning to be on board helping the passengers accomplish their goal to regain control of the plane or crash it. Very few movies has ever given me that feeling and the few movies that have given me that feeling don't end in tragedy.

This film also did an incredible job of showing what was going on with the air traffic controllers as each plane on their screens flew off course than slowly disappeared above New York and Washington. It was eerie to see it from their point of view. The audience knows whats happening but they have no idea. You also get to see all the mis-information that was being provided to all the people working on the ground trying to figure out what was happening that day. Including the belief that the first plane to hit the trade center American Airlines Flight 11 was found and is somewhere flying above NY. That was after 2 planes had hit the towers. Then is was reported that Flight 11 had landed safely Which brought up the question, "if flight 11 didn't hit the trade center than what did?"
To anyone like me who has seen the documentary titled "Loose Change" and do believe that there are some pretty big conspiracy's that happened that day including the fact the United 93 may have actually been shot down, I believe that you will respect this movie and admire it for what it is. A well made story about what might have happened that day. Whether this is what happened aboard that flight or not, this movie will have you believing in heroes.

This is one of the few movies that has stayed with me since I saw it months ago and I was shocked to see it wasn't nominated for directing or movie. After reading an article written by Stephen King I would like to end this by quoting something he said about United 93 " If this emotionally wrenching docudrama isn't nominated for Best Picture, the Academy should be ashamed of itself".

5 things the general public doesn't already know about me

So there's this really great game going around the" internets". Whats this game? Well you write 5 things about yourself the general public doesn't know about you and then you tag someone. So I was tagged by Mike who was tagged by Rick who was tagged by Steve yadda yadda yadda. Not only that but Justin Colbert was tagged by Amanda from Caliblog and Stuart Christ was tagged by Angela from BlackCat INC. Here we go.

Justin

1. I've had off and on therapy between the years 1998 and 2002. I didn't know how to control my frustration. When mad and or faced with some sort of issue I didn't know how to deal with i would either break something I loved or hurt myself badly. I stopped my therapy only because I couldn't afford it anymore. Now I am 90% better then I used to be. I had relapses but that only included me tearing off a shirt....like the Hulk. That was 2 years ago.

2. My mom spent my entire life drinking and talking on the phone. She would rather still be a high school teenager then be a mom. It took me going home in September of 2001 and basically attacking her and telling her she needs to grow up to make her stop. That's one of the best and worst moments of my life.

3. I kind of have a love for star trek but there is a reason behind my madness. Star Trek takes place in the 24th century. According to the Star trek Universe there is peace on earth and the planet is all united as one. Sounds cheesy I know. What makes me like Star Trek so much is that I think it is a pretty great dream of the future. A world united that explores different planets. And it had Patrick Stewart. He's the bomb.

4. Most people think I'm gay and I'm not. It doesn't bother me at all. In college I actually had many many guys come on to me. I'm one of the few guys that will admit that he's had so many men come on to him that he actually sat down one day and just thought about it. The answer very quickly was no I'm not gay. But how many guys will admit that they sat down and thought about it?

5. I was raised as a Republican and for many years and was one. It took me growing away from my family to realize what I was.... Gay! No I'm kidding. A Democrat of course

Colbert

1. I helped rig the 2004 election. What? It's over! What are you going to do about it? Go back in time and let John Kerry win?

2. You know how people were raised on a small farm? Well I was raped by a small farm. I was milking a cow and they all ganged up on me. The goats, the horses...I don't want to talk about it.

3. I am smarter than you.

4. I am doing everything I can to help woman get the recognition they deserve. In the kitchen anyways. That's where they belong

5. I've had sex with Amanda from Caliblog. Eat that Mike

Stuart Christ

1. I told Judas that Jesus liked a girl that he was trying to mack and it made Judas all mad and jealous and that's why he turned on him. It was a lie. I was just mad because Jesus was always hanging with big tittied Magdaline and I really wanted to mack her and you see where Im going. The crucifixion came 3 years early because of me.

2. Jesus turns water into wine but I turn grass into weed. Fucking good shit over here man!

3. Angela from BlackCatINC has this serious crush on me. She's always calling me and trying to get me to touch her breasts. It's not really a bad thing it's just that she smells like a combination of bad liquor and feet.

4. You know the Katrina incident? Well Dad asked me to turn the hurricane into a category 1 before it hit and I decided that day that I'd rather get shitfaced and pass out. My bad.

5. I piss holy water.

So I need to tag some people. Mariamarida, Claire from Little Miss Sunshine, The Pope of Chili town, Trailerboy, Inez, Pablo and of course...Mollye =0)

One Sweet "Tenacious" A

I asked my friend Mike over at Caliblog.com if he'd give me a hand with this vlog I wanted to do. I said to him that I didn't want to tell him anything about it not even the subject at hand. I just had something planned out that I was pretty sure would turn out funny and I just needed him to just be himself. I also brought a bag of clothes that I surprised him with. I would like to give a shout out to Mollye who so nicely sat by with headphones on while we filmed this. I hope you all enjoy.

UPS again and The Mouse

Below is a picture of Catfriend who I mentioned in the above video

I don't expect anyone to watch the video below but if anyone is interested this was my
original UPS rant I made back in September. Only watch this if your interested in hearing why I hate UPS so much =0).
Again I don't expect you to watch the below video because it is 20 minutes long and I was
drinking wine at the time and was tipsy. Wait, why am I posting it again?
