Today and Tonight

Today went well. I got 2 hours of sleep and went to work. That was kind of yucky. But the day itself wasn't too bad. After work I came home, talked to Suzanne for a bit, then went out for a very long walk. It was nice. Along the walk I got me some Baha Fresh. Mmmmmmmm Baja Fresh. Then I walked to a Target and got some jeans for work. Yup, I bought some Jeans Pants (.blogspot.com) The pants were only 6 bucks. Thank you clearance God.

I now sit at the Glendale Library waiting for a ride. Tonight I am having a meeting with some friends of mine. You see, George Romero is having a contest. He wants a short film, 3 minutes long and it has to be serious. The winner gets put on his Diary of the Dead DVD. I wrote a script and tonight we will see through discussion if it's film able. Wish me luck. Later everyone.

"Arrested Development" the movie?

I read a rumor on IMDB. to help keep this rumor going I will post here what was written there. Enjoy!

Actor Jason Bateman has confirmed plans are underway for a movie version of cancelled TV sitcom Arrested Development. A rumored meeting between the star and series creator Mitch Hurwitz late last year fuelled speculation a big-screen adaptation of the cult show was in the pipeline. And now the Juno star has confirmed the cast has received calls from executives asking if they would be interested in reviving their roles once the ongoing Hollywood writers strike is over. He tells E! News, "I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started. Any talk is targeting a post-strike situation, of course. I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."

Me again. OK, so if this is something that makes me pretty happy. If you've never seen the show then either netflix it, buy it or find on TV. It's usually playing on one of the Hi-Def channels. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go kiss some ass so I can get a part in this movie.
Whose ass should I kiss first???????????

Movie Facelifts and Remakes!

Have you noticed that when the American movie industry remakes a good scary movie from Japan it's almost always disappointing? Why is it we just don't release the Japanese version in theaters over here? Are Americans too lazy to read? Will ever sentence on this post be a question?

I find it interesting that there are so many good smart young people trying to make it in Hollywoond because Hollywood just may be one of the most greedy places on the planet. It's one of the best examples of a big corporation trying to make a buck. Sure, if your good the studio will fund your little movie you want to make, but you'll first have to relaunch and direct the Police Academy series and if it fails, we wont produce your movie.

OK, the Ring wasn't bad. That is true. But the ring was helmed by Gore Verbinski who is a pretty smart and talented director. But the Grudge and the Eye,what went wrong there?

There was a time I thought that sequels would always be better then the originals. I thought, Well, if "I Know What You Did Last Summer!" sucked then the sequel must be good. I figured they would take the money from the first one and make one hell of a good sequel. I obviously was wrong.

I just read on IMDB that they are re-making the "A Nightmare on Elm Street"and the "Friday the 13th" series. They call it a re-launch which makes me think there will be sequels. I find it strange that the remake comes so soon since it's only been 3 years since we last saw the main characters from both series in Freddy vs Jason .I heard their in talks to make a Freddy vs Jason 2. So does this mean they will relaunch both "Nightmare" and "Friday",make sequels for them while there still making sequels to the originals?

I blame Michael Bay. Just because he's responsible for the majority of the horror remakes within the past 5 years which includes this new Freddy and Jason series. Someone needs to confine him to strictly doing Transformers movies or the Bad Boys movies. Series that don't require much thought but we like to watch.

So, if you'll all excuse me, I need to go kiss some ass to get a part in one of these 2 new movies. What? Don't judge me

Fuck It!

Yesterday I went to work and I came to a new realization. I don't think I hate my job, no. I don't think I hate customer. I dislike most of the people I work with. This is true. I walked onto the sales floor yesterday and their were 10 other employees. Sounds like an easy day. So, I smiled and started helping customers. an hour goes by and I notice that my line of customers is getting bigger and bigger. I thought the store was just getting busier. Nope! What happened was becase their were 10 people, each one of them said to themselves "well, there are 10 people out here, Im going to walk off the floor for a bit". Each one did that and didnt tell anyone else. So I was stuck alone helping all these people knowing I have 10 employees scheduled with me and they were no where to be found.

Then later, I get a call from an employee downstairs. He's all upset because there is a missing shoe rack. He said "You have to find these shoe racks". When he said that I realizes something. I don't like being told I "have" to do something especially if its something stupid like a shoe rack. So I told him that I "have" to do nothing and if he wants to take the time and go find it then be my guest. And he did.

Then came lunch. Our lunch ladies are real pain in the asses. We were serving chicken fingers. Your only suppose to get 3 pieces. I walked up. I noticed that the pieces were really small but because I was so hungry I didn't care. I added the 3 pieces to my plate. As soon as I did that the lunch lady walks out with a tray of huge pieces of chicken. So I take the tongs and start replacing the small with the large. When I did that she flips out. She starts yelling "you cant switch them, their already on your plate". I said "yeah but I didn't realize the pieces were suppose to be bigger". She responded with "too bad, they're already on your plate". I stood there and stared at her. I said, "they're on my clean plate". But that didn't matter.

So I then go up to pay and realize my debit card and license were missing. At this point, with the day I was having and the fact I've been having trouble breathing I had a slight anxiety attack. I sat down at a table and emptied my wallet looking for my stuff. When I did that a bunch of male employees who I'm acquaintances with started to haze me like in a frat. One started saying "hey your in my seat, another started making fun of the fact that I spread out my wallet and another decided it would be fun to make fun of the fact my girlfriend lives far away in Sacramento. I told them at least times that now is not a good time and I need to find my license but that wasn't good enough. Finally I stood up in the cafeteria and yelled "FUCK OFF". Guess what, that didn't help. They kept at it like I was kidding. So I walked up to my boss and told him I needed to leave.

When that happened it hit me. All of my bad days are caused by my fellow employees not customers. If my co-workers would stop disappearing I wouldn't have to deal with so many angry people.

Back to the main story. I got a call telling me that the employees all had to talk to managers cause of what happened. Oh by the way, I found my license and debit card on the ground outside...woo hoo!

When I heard they had to speak to managers, and since I was calmed down, I decided to go back to work. I talked to the managers and told them what happened and surprisingly enough they were very understanding. They said they were happy I left because its smart for an employee to know when he needs to leave. They were also happy I came back to talk with them.

So, I am about to the library I'm in and head to work. I am smiling and I am feeling happy. So hopefully this positive energy I have running through me will help me through another day.

"Get in the ring Rocky, Cause Micky Loves ya!" That quote is for you Garen.

Ramblings

I've been having trouble sleeping again. Its mostly because of my new cold. This will be the 6th cold/flu I've had since September. I guess I have a terrible immune system.

It's 2AM. I'm not sure why I'm still up. Maybe it's because I dealt with some evil people at work. I use the word evil because that's exactly how I see them. There the type of people who drive 2 hours to come to the store to buy a piece of furniture and when its sold out and we have it in 1 week they get mad and want us to explain to them why "we" are making them drive another 2 hours to come back to the store. Excuse me but we aren't making them do anything. I hate people who have issues like this be their biggest problem in life.

No, I don't think my day is keeping me awake. It's just my cold.

Open Letter t o t he Family of
Heath Ledger
Dear friends:
For misguided reasons you are hiding the body of He a t h
Ledger , a n d refusing to divulge the time, date, and place of his
burial in Perth , Australia , so that we at Westboro Ba pt i s t
Church can not attend - in respectful proximity - and conduct a
religious service.
Please reconsider . For t he following reasons:
1) He a t h would wan t us to appear - in religious protestand
warning to the living - that they should repent , " lest they also
come into this place of torment . " Lk. 16:28. Like the rich man
in Hell in Luke 16, Heath is pleading even now for somebody on
earth to preac h the truth to his family, lest t hey join him in Hell.
2) H Heath himself could come back to life for a brief period to
speak to his loved ones on earth , he would lift up his voice in a
hideous scream, to wit: " Listen to Phelps! For God ' s sake,
Listen to Phelps . "
3) You owe it to the youth of the world, whom Heath misled via
" Br o k e b a c k Mo u n t a i n " into believing it was OK to be gay. I
say, you owe it to the youth of the world to use Heath ' s funeral
to correct that lie. I t ' s NOT OK to be gay. It is a great sin
against God. It will destroy the life and damn the soul. All
those whom Heath misled will arrive ultimately in Hell, and
they will curse Heath to his face through out all eternity.
Please tell us the time, date, and place of Heath 's funeral in Australia. Thank you.
