the bush administration is all about false bravado and peppering fear throughout the media. this election will be a real test because it will give us an idea how much attention this country pays to its public officials.

they keep promising security and keep saying that we need to "give up a few rights." but hurricane katrina proved that we don't get security. they had 1-2 weeks to prepare for that disaster, it emcompassed more than one state, but bush couldn't save anyone. this is insane, especially in light of the fact that president nixon got the military into the gulf coast within 24 hours of hurricane camille in 1969.

people really have no reasonable proof to believe that this administration has any competance other than to win elections and attain power. that's all they're good for ("competant at grabbing power" is a better way of putting it). otherwise i feel that just about everything that comes out of the white house should be taken with a grain of salt. that is simply unacceptable.

yeah fuck bush. i don't know who to be more pissed at, bush whos fucking up the country or swarzenegger whos just fuckin up california. all i know is that since those 2 took office school tuition has more than tripled, as have gas prices. sure there's a lot of other horrible shit thats gone on in that time, but those are the 2 that affect me both directly. i'm all for the forming new parties, i'm a registered independant, but we can always form a Fuck George Bush party, then when they get elected they can just go back and undo all the laws, bills and decisions that he made. then everything would be closer to hunky dory again.

Justin? Why do you hate America? :) Nice post - I also later on that night realized I couldn't care less if... you know. I would cheer about it - but I really don't think I would give a shit either.
