Please be kidding me? You got to be Fucking Kidding Me!!!

"the cast of Studio 60, threatened to be canceled"

Dear Television God,
This summer I watched Lost season 1 and 2 for the first time on DVD. Now to date, season 1 is superior to all it's followers but still, after watching both seasons I felt that television may be headed in the right direction. Maybe even a better direction than the film industry. Anyways if I had watched season 1 of Lost when it aired than means I would have had not only Lost but Six Feet Under, The Office, The Simpsons and of course Arrested Development all airing in the same week. That to me is a collective of great writing.

Now the TV Gods took away Arrested Development. That pissed me off. Than Six Feet Under had it's final episode so that's no longer filming. That leaves me with "The Office", "The Simpsons"(which is kind of redundant even though I love it), and "Lost"which for me, these last 2 episodes of "Lost"were kind of disapointing.

Now this summer I got to watch an early pilot airing of "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" which I loved. I wrote a review about Studio 60 after I first watched it explaining how smart and brilliant the writing, acting and directing are on that show. It made me excited to watch TV again. Now that the show is airing I look forward to watching it every week. What sucks is the fact that the show airs Monday nights on NBC at 10:00. Now who watches anything on Monday nights, anyone? People usually watch football don't they? Who still watches NBC, anyone???

Im sure Im going to hear people say they watch the show "Heroes" which airs right before Sutdio 60 Monay nights on NBC at 9:00. I've asked people if they keep their TV on to watch 60 and just about everybody says no? That makes me sad =0(.

So the rumour out their on the Nerd entertainment sites I go to is that 60 will be canceled very shortly. TV you have stabbed me again. It's just good to know that you still have on the air great quality shows that aren't threatened to be canceld like Deal or No Deal, CSI, CSI New York, CSI Miami, The War At Home, Dancing with the Stars (what stars?), Big Brother, Nick Cannon's Wild N Out, Pimp my Ride, Laguna Beach, The Nanny, Reba, eh you get the point.

Whats my point televion God? Well if you cancel 60 than you can go fuck yourself.

I stand by my claim that TV sucks ass - it's a rule and there are exceptions to ever rule... but overall - good writers are sneaking through the cracks and TV comes along when things are getting good to spoil all the fun.

Do like me Justine. Don't watch TV. Unless it's football or baseball. Sports are good.

I've watched studio 60, i didn't care for it particularly. While the writing may have been good, the storyline is what draws people in. Based on the fact that the "funny" version, 30 Rock, (which isn't funny, I've almost given up on that one too) isn't doing well either, it tells me people don't wanna watch a tv show about making a tv show. But heroes is really, really, REALLY good. I think that may be my favorite show now.

I miss those Bluths and Funkes, too! In this order, if I must:

    1. Tobias
    2. George Michael
    3. Jobe or, apparently GOB

    Now it gets tough...

    4. Lindsay
    5. Buster
    6. Maeby
    7. George Sr.

    and now easy again...

With the disappearance of Arrested Development, and reception of only three tv stations, I'm back to dvd rental for comedy. I just received the first Larry Sanders Show in the mail. Never watched a single show during its original airing many years ago but remember hearing good things about it.

Oh how awful that I left Michael out of the running! His character is a bit easy to overlook; however the show, like that family, needed him, wouldn't you say? He was important for sure. I'll squeeze him in there between Lindsay and Buster.
